AOPA 2004 Sweepstakes
Piper Twin Comanche
Prepared for AOPA
Scheme 11
NOTES
- This scheme combines elements of scheme
1 with scheme 6.
- Rather than create a purely period scheme,
which dates the aircraft, the approach was to create a relatively
conservative yet modern scheme, using at least an element from
older Piper designs, with a dynamic and modern overlay in the
ChromaLusion paint.
- The Piper element is the Arrow shape at
the front of the nose, nacelle and tip tank.
- A Comanche is fat in the center and sits
tail low. The scheme make it look slimmer and more upright on
the ground.
- Our underlying thought is that the aircraft
should turn heads - it should not look like any other Comanche.
