Sometimes, simplicity and flow are the secret to a beautiful scheme,
as that used by Skip Slater on is Lancair ES.
Good seeing you
at Oshkosh. I wanted to pass along the comments I received
from no less than half a dozen separate people who saw my plane
during the week. All told me that they thought my scheme and
paint job were the most beautiful they'd seen on any plane at the
entire show. Considering the thousands of planes that were
there, I was genuinely flattered, especially to hear it from so
many different people.
Thanks for your
part in creating such a great scheme for me Craig. I know I
gave you something to start with, but your additions were a major
element in making it such a stunning plane to look at. There
are still days when I just stare at it sitting out in front of my
hangar!
