Cessna 177

The CA owner of this Cardinal wanted a striking and innovated custom look.  The scheme was designed with flowing stripes which are heavier on the tail, a feature which is offset by the large nose of the Cardinal.  As this aircraft is more than 30 years old, the FAA regulations allow the use of 2" high N-Numbers, which made application of this type of design much simpler and more elegant.
